Alan Bate
Alan specialises in all aspects of people management training and facilitation. He has 23 years’ of training design, development and delivery experience. Alan has public and private sector experience and worked with all levels of management, from 1st line supervisors to executive and board members. With a strong and flexible facilitative style of delivery, Alan engages well with all delegates/participants and ensures that both organisational and individual learning needs are satisfied.
Alan’s recent and current experience includes design and development of leadership and management programmes within a large Government Department (UKBA); Delivery of Dignity and Diversity training (Premier Foods); and the design and development of a supervisory/1st line management modular programme (Home Delivery Network). Additionally Alan has developed and delivered a range of training and change initiatives for Shared Service Centres (DEFRA). Other clients include HMRC (Handling Grievances); Valuation Office Agency (Effective Meetings); and Staffordshire County Council (Performance Management); United Utilities (People Manager’s Toolkit).
